My Mom made a Veggie Pie. I like most vegetables. I thought it would be yummy. So my Mom cooked the veggie pie for dinner. I took a BIGHT.............. and ................. DUN-DUN-DUN. Turns out I didn't like it, but I didn't tell my Mom. Because I didn't want to hurt her feelings because I'm a good kid.
The next day at 3:30p.m. I went to my friend's house and I ate dinner with my friend. So when I got home my family had the Veggie Pie again and I didn't have to eat it or tell my Mom that I don't like it. I was lucky. I nick named it ...

PARKER GLEN BUTLER! I can't believe that you don't like my chicken-pot-pie. It's your Dad's favorite! And I have a correction to make about your article. You don't like most vegetables. That's a little fib! You only like certain kinds of veggies and you like them cooked a certain way. Remember only cooked carrots and not cold hard carrots?
Anyway, thank you for being honest! I can always count on you to keep me on the right track.

I must applaud you for at least trying some veggie pie...even though you "think" you like most vegetables, I'm on your mom's side. Don't believe us? Well then, I think I'm going to test you FEAR FACTOR STYLE. How does munching on some radishes sound to you? Muwah ha ha ha ha (evil laugh). Still think you are a veggie lover? I think not!

Buddy you're very nice to not hurt you're moms feelings and I'm glad you like most veggies. I have been eating
raw carrots, raw turnips, and radishes lately, mmmmm, mmmmm, mama. We'll have some together next time you come to visit. Hope you and your sisters are feeling better. I miss you all and think about you every day.
Hold the press! There needs to be a correction about the veggies part! I have proof that there are only certain veggies that you will eat. I have cooked them and have watched you being forced to try them! I have to agree with your dad that your mom's chicken pot pie is quite delightful my little one! She is an excellent cook. Don't eat too often at your friends house because you will miss out on all the good food your mom makes and the silly jokes that are shared at dinner time. Thanks for making me smile and laugh until my tummy hurts. Eat your chicken noodle soup and cheese sandwiches to feel better. Good luck with your cough.

Awww...man! I love Veggie Pie! Although...I think your cousins would agree with you on the name Yucky Blucky Veggie Pie. Keep trying those veggies, maybe some day you'll find that you like them. (wink,wink)
