I Know All The Tricks Of Parenting, By Parker

Dear mom and dad,

I really understand that you don't know that I'm ready to have a cell phone. But I know I am ready. I know what I'm capable of and I know that I am fully  capable to be ready and pay for all the exspenses. Also I would like to tell that I want one not only that it makes me feel cool and the reason is that I think it
makes feel in, what I mean is I kind of feel left out by not having one today, all my friends and I mean ALL my friends have one. So I think that I deserve one.

Some of the reasons that I should have one are that its more whats thaat word oh con vee nee ent  I do not know how the word is spelled so there. I think also transportation wise also you haerd me about it so you know what I mean. I get it on how you think you think that I am not ready for this responsibility but I know I AM  it is time for me to get more opportunities and YOu know it its rediculous just plain out funny

Of of that please tell me the answer on this paper and say why I know what you will probably say and I know a no but please tell me the real honest answer of all of this. I want and need an answer I know all the tricks of parenting and one of them is not circling anything or just not responding but I do know that you WILL read this. So circle the answer. Please tell why

YES!                                         NO!

What a guy!

Melissa: Wing has always been an awesome Dad. On his first Father's Day he received a very special gift, a baby boy! When he first saw Parker his eyes were huge with pride and his grin just about fell off his face. I knew from that time forward that Wing would dedicated himself to being a good father, provider and husband. We are so blessed to have him as our Daddy. He makes learning, playing, stories and life just plain fun! When Daddy is around life is better. Wing, thank you for being the man who I fell in love with and for raising our children with inspiration and love. I love you, Wingy. Happy Father's Day!
Grace: My dad is the best. He always cares for us and no matter what, he will love us. Fathers are so special and they help you when you need it. They are always there. My favorite thing to do with my Dad is to go on a bike ride. One time we went into 7-11 on our bikes and I saw my friend there. We said, "Hi" and then left. Some kids from school saw me too. I just said, "Cool!" My Dad is the best! Love ya, Dad! Kate: I love to go swimming with my Dad. I love to be naked with him. I love to jump on the tramp with him too. I love to go on field trips with him and I love to be his best buddy. Someday we will get married because it's my turn to marry him next. I love to drive with him at Grandmas. You are a very special Daddy!
Parker: My Daddy is my favorite pal. I love him very much because he's my dad and all of those reasons. I wish you a Happy Father's Day. I hope you enjoy playing with me cause you better play with me when you gets back. Happy Father's Day Dad. I love you!

Pine Wood Derby, by Parker

I had lots of fun at my 2nd Pine Wood Derby. My car was the Mighty Mouse! My car was the only one that crashed, in the second half. This is how it happened. First, my car went down the and lost a screw. So that caused it to hit the bottom and need repair. Next my car went down for the final time. So it gained speed and BANG!! My car's wheels flew out on the track and it sputtered around and round hitting all the other cars an giving them a boost. Then it flipped over and stopped. I didn't know what to think then I thought it was AWESOME!!!!!! My mom thought I would freak out. Pffffttt... No!

On the picture above that's all of us getting prepared to go down the big track. There's 4 lanes. My crash happened when I was on lane 3. I tell you my car was sabotaged,  I tell you sabotaged.
There's me right after my car crashed with my buddies, Zac and Brady.

Hiking With Daddy

Parker: We had to take a lot of pictures. This is the one that my dad said to do a really big smile. Reallllllllllllllllllly big! So I did as you can see. But, afterwords my Dad said that I ruined the picture because my smile was SO big that it covered the whole entire page.

On the hike, there was also these almost naked guys running. All they had on was their boxers. They were singing, "I WANT TO BE A PARAMEDIC. STICK EM WITH A NEEDLE AND ANESTHETIC." They were weird.

Grace: I love my Dad so very much and he'll always be there even when he's busy. Because I LOVE my Daddy.  On our hike, there was these tunnels that were really fun to go into. We thought we heard bats and saw some bat guano. Yucky! You can see the tunnels in the background of our smiley picture.

Kate: Bat guano is gross. And then we wented into some tunnels. Parker's friend Zachary went too. Daddy carried me all over and I roaded on him shoulders and I tooted on him shoulders too. I love my Daddy. Daddy is at home now working in the office.

Volleyball! YEAH!, by Parker

Here I am serving the ball. BOY! I carried my team up in serving. That's how we won.

So I had fun doing my volleyball classes. I learned how to to pass or bump, the positions on how to do spikes (I got really good at it. I could hit them over the net.) and how to set properly. Oh, only use finger tips. I can serve from the outside court all the way in the court! Not out of bounds, but in! After every lesson I  got a snack of my choice. Lolly pop or bubble gum. WOW! Can those make big bubbles.

There is me setting the ball. Look at the concentration. Does my palm touch the ball?
BAM!! That's going to go flying right in the court. Can the other team get it? I don't know I'm pretty good.

I learned a lot in my classes. I hope I do it agin.

Do We Want A Boy Or A Girl? Survey Says...

The new baby is healthy, growing at the correct rate, has all of it's body parts... and is extremely wiggly! The kids laughed when the baby kept giving the technician problems because it was so squirmy. Very cute to see it's personality already blooming.

We interviewed each child before the ultrasound was preformed. Here's their responses, desires and reactions...

BEFORE:

Parker: "Yes. I think it will be a boy. Definitely a boy. I also want a boy. I want it to be a boy so I'll have a friend to play video games with."

Grace: "I want a girl. I think it will be a girl, but I want a boy. Wait a minute. I don't know! I don't care which one. But having a girl would be nice because she would be a girl."

Kate: "I really want a dirl (girl). A dirl can play with my toys."

AND THE ULTRASOUND SAYS:

It's an "innie!" Definitely not an "outie." It was very obvious to the trained eye.

AFTER:

Kate: "A DIRL! I am happy!" (She also grinned and clapped her hands! When we went back to the car she cried because she thought we were leaving the baby at the Doctors office. Don't worry, Kate. She's in Mommies tummy.)

Grace: "I like that! It's a girl! It's a girl! It's a girl!"

Parker: "There are going to be too many girls in the house. Whew. It's going to be tough on me."

HERE'S SOME OTHER CUTE LITTLE DETAILS:

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Happy Birthday Grandma! Even though we tease you by calling you an old lady... we truly think you are neat. In fact, we love you so much that we had to bundle all of our love into a movie. We hope you enjoy our nifty birthday moves made just for you!

From Parker: Happy Birthday Grandma! I love you tons and tons. I love it when you tease me and bring me treats and stuff. You always comfort me when I need it. You’re a pretty good Grandma... for your age! And you’re also pretty good at four square (but, I know that I am better). Love you lots and lots and lots!

From Grace: Hi Grandma, you are the best Grandma! I think you should come and see my monkey with the unibrow and a lot of things too! Please have the best birthday that you can. I love it when you hug me and tell me that you love me. My favorite thing about you is that you are my Grandma. I also love it when you help me. You are good at four square, loving me, being happy, teaching, shopping and giving me clothes. You are a good person in all ways. I love you forever and ever.

From Kate: I like that you laugh at my burps. I wish I could go "boop" on your tummy and hear you laugh. Last time you visited, I cried when you left and I wanted my Mommy to pick you up in the car. I was sad. Now I like to call Amanda, "Nama" cause that's your name and I like to say it. I have fun when you talk on the phone to me. Thanks for listening and for eating my pizza when I feed you through the phone. You always like it! I wub you... burp... Nama!

From Melissa: Happy Birthday, Mom! I am so lucky to have you for a Mother. I know that I like to give you a hard time about the good old days (your lack of clothes, towels on the car seat, the yard stick, de-junking, etc.), but even those silly moments hold a special place in my heart and always will. I don't know what I'd do without you. You have always been there for me and are always the first person to ask how I feel. I love how we have developed more than a parent and daughter relationship because now we are best friends! I love all of the things that we have in common and even don't mind "turning into my mother" because it would be a privilege to be more like you... But, don't expect me to walk outside with my garments showing. You deserve only the choicest of blessings on this very special day. I love you and always will be your sweet Melissa.

From Wing: Mom, the first time I met you I think I saw too much of you! Did you really think the washcloth was going to cover you? It is then I should have known we were gonna be close no matter what! Grin. It certainly showed you were open to having a new son in the family. Thanks for being Mom to me.

Yucky Blucky Veggie Pie, by parker

My Mom made a Veggie Pie. I like most vegetables. I thought it would be yummy. So my Mom cooked the veggie pie for dinner. I took a BIGHT.............. and ................. DUN-DUN-DUN. Turns out I didn't like it, but I didn't tell my Mom. Because I didn't want to hurt her feelings because I'm a good kid.

The next day at 3:30p.m. I went to my friend's house and I ate dinner with my friend. So when I got home my family had the Veggie Pie again and I didn't have to eat it or tell my Mom that I don't like it. I was lucky. I nick named it ...

YUCKY BLUCKY Veggie Pie!

(Oops, my Mom says it's called Chicken-Pot-Pie. But, I don't care. It's still YUCKY BLUCKY Veggie Pie!)

I WANT A CLUBHOUSE NOW!, by Parker

Today I learned about the pioneers. I figured how they made their houses back then. I'll tell you how.

Ingredients:

  • 12 bunches of hay, lots is best so it can be tall.
  • lots of weeds I mean lots of weeds so the hay will be held in place.
  • A shovel one that can dig good.
  • 2 stones for the roof.
  • And a ladder.
Directions:
  1. Dig a tunnel down that is a square. This will be your door.
  2. When the tunnel is long enough for your ladder, dig a room next to it. It needs to be big enough to fit 2 or 3 people.
  3. Put your ladder down your door hole.
  4. Use the hay to stack up above the ground around your door, but leave a spot for you to get in and out just like another door.
  5. Then use the weeds to hold the hay in place by tying them together and use them as ropes.
  6. Get the two stones and put them above the hay for your roof.
So I decided to build one in my backyard, but I've got a problem. I need a permit to build it. I just think that you don't need a permit! I OBJECT AND I WANT TO TALK TO THE MAYOR ABOUT THE PERMIT! And the permit costs $60.0 and I don't even have $60! It's just so DIFOBLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! (That's why my picture is so mad!)
